Positive

A snap kit.

A drop of pristine urine.

2 parallel red lines.

A new life.

Heaven..

Three's a company (but what the heck?) Four or Five's even better.

Talk about my article 'Fast Forward'.

Thank you God for this wonderful blessing.

FAST FORWARD

Just in a span of 1 and a half years: (in chronological order)

1) I moved out from our house in the province and rented an apartment unit together with my friends (finally!)

2) I resigned from the company I've been working for for 5 years and transferred to my client's company . I got 'pirated' actually *wink* he he

3) I finally got a girlfriend who is worthy to be my wife.

4) We got married.

5) I finished my MBA degree.

6) We got engaged (Do you wonder how #4 got ahead of #5? (figuratively speaking))

7) We bought a condo unit. (I just hope that our preconceived budgeting schemes for all our expenses including the monthly amortization will be accurate..)

8) I conquered 2 mountains. (whew!)

For me, a lot has happened in this 1 and a half years. Thank God for all the blessings.
I promise to stay away (or atleast try he he) from my vices (smoking and drinking).

Tie and Knot

I'm going to be married in late 2008. Everything is okay as far as the preparation and finances are concerned. (Whew!)

I'm excited and nervous at the same time. Not that I'm nervous of living a married life but more of being the center of attention during the wedding ha ha no kidding! (actually, only the second center of attention, the bride being the first of course!) I am a shy guy and I don't really like attention. That is all.

Anyway, it's been a blast = )

Hot Air Balloon

Last Saturday, me and my friends decided to watch the annual Hot Air balloon Festival at Clark Air Field, Pampanga. We went all the way to Pampanga using my girlfriend's Delica Van which is so cranky that the poor van can't run more than 80 Km/hr. The brakes are also poor (which I believe is a good thing considering that the van's condition NEVER tempted me to make it run faster that a pedicab he he). But in fairness to it, the airconditioning system was surprisingly outstanding than what you expect from something that looks like going to die any moment.
It took us an hour and a half to reach the place although I believe we can reach the same in 45 minutes using a normal-fundtioning car.
Upon arrival, we immediately bought our tickets and went inside. The place was a bit messy and disorganized. The portalets are so horrible that my GF can't even get close to it for fear of picking the stench of urine on her clothes. Therefore, she ended up peeing on a mcdonald's plastic bag whilst inside the van he he
The sun was high. The wind was so strong that it made the dust on the ground hover over you and attach itself to your sweaty face, clothes and hair!!!
While waiting for the hot air balloon show, we decided to eat a bunch of 'kalye' foods. We also bought a kite to kill time, join the throng, and take advantage of the strong winds and the wide open field. I let the others flew the kite. Some were very much amused by the kite as this was their first time to actually fly one. They ended up holding the damn string for hours.
After four more hours, we learned that there will be no Hot Air balloon show to watch due to the very strong winds that continued until 7 pm. WTF. No Hot Air Ballon show for us. Only hot air. Then we went home right away. WTF.
